I'm searching for info on my grandmother-Madge Massey, b.abt 1906-1910. She married Harry Robert Edmonds-Murphysboro, around 1923-24. They moved to E. St. Louis, I guess around 1925. They had 3 children, Harry Robert, Jr. (known as Bob Edmonds,b. 1924-d.WWII, he lived with his Aunt Edna & Uncle Fred Ringwald), Mary Catherine Edmonds, b.1926 in IL. and third child, "Babe" Eileen Edmonds, b. 1928 in Vincennes, Ind.
Madge is believed to have had a brother, "Bud" & a sister, Maxine. Family thinks her middle name was Emily, and her parents may have been Catherine & William. Nothing is confirmed.
She left Harry and went to Ind. in 1928. She gave the children to Harry because she could not take care of them, financially. Family believes the children were made "wards of the court". Thanks for any info,
