James Y. Wilkins, b. ca 1827 in Tennessee, was living in Makanda in 1870 with his wife and family. James served in Companies C and G of the 31st Illinois Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. Request help to find information on date of his death and place of burial. Would also appreciate information on his wife Alice.
His children included Charles, James, William and Frank.
