Looking for John Ridgeway, father of Charlie Holiday Ridgeway. Charlie was born Feb 25, 1903 in either Cairo or Carbondale, IL. John Ridgeway, who was from IL (probably from Jackson County) and probably born sometime before 1880, married Nollie Willis, the 19-yr-old divorced wife of Thomas Jordan Hernard. Family lore says Mr. Willis had his daughter's marriage to John Ridgeway annuled. The Willis's had lived, at one time, in Jackson Co, Makanda, IL but moved to White Co, AR. It is unknown where John Ridgeway and Nollie Willis met and married. Any help appreciated.
