The marriage license for John H. Harris and Sarah A. Dodge 29 sept 1887, Murphysboro, Jackson County, IL, contains a lot of information.

It lists maiden name of bride: Vanover
Fathers name: Rich Vanover
Mothers maiden name: Rachel Morgan

Grooms fathers name: Isaac B. Harris
Mothers maiden names: Baker

If anyone else is researching these people I would love to exchange what little info I have. Anything would be helpful, this has been a brick wall.
