Can anyone help? I am looking for Thomas Bryant, Born 1804, South Carolina, his father may have been Murphy Bryant. Came from Buncombe County, North Carolina, to Jefferson County, Illinois in 1840.
Thomas had the following children: William J. Bryant, born 1827, Married Maria Pitchford; John P. Bryant, born 1829, married Mary (George) Tyler; Thomas Wesley Bryant, born 1830 may have married a Dicy Ann Davis, or Amelia Ann (unknown); Nathaniel H. Bryant, born 1832, died 1880, married Nancy Green Pigg; Charity S. Bryant, born 1837, married Phineas Boyd; Catherine Bryant, born 1840, married John McCaleb; Lorenzo Dowel Bryant, born 1841, Married several times, Marthena Troutt, Sarah Ann George, Patience Grisby, Mary Jane Moore; Nancy Caroline Bryant, Born 1848, do not know if she married; Harriet M. Bryant, born 1850; Henry Melvin Bryant, born 1852, married Nancy Caroline Purdue (my great grandparents); Elizabeth Bryant, born ca 1855; Lily Melany Bryant, Born 1857.
Thomas Bryant was also married several times, Leuresa (Unknown), Elender Royalty in 1845; Francis George in 1846 (my great great grandmother); Elizabeth Troutt in 1862.
If anyone can help me find more info on this family or would like to share what I have, let me know. This family is very elusive!
