I am currently researching my Bryant side also. I have a Needham Bryant born around 1805 in S.C. He moved to Buncombe county lived near Murphy Bryant. I assume this is his father. Needham married a Jane Martin. They had a son Jacob my great,great,great,great grandfather. Later, I have them showing up in Gilmer County Georgia. Murphy shows up here also. Let me know if you have any more information on this family. My Jacob moved to Robeson County, N.C. He married a indian woman by the name of Martha Locklier. The family is still there on the original farm.
