OSBURN, OSBORNE, OZBURN,
FANNIN, FANNING, FANNON
Looking for information on Allen M. OSBORN who married Sarah A. FANIN in Perry co. IL in 1878....marriage records online for State of IL.
I have not been able to find Allen M. OSBORN in Perry co. for 1870 or before. He may have resided in a neighboring county.
Sarah, born in 1857 IL, was the daughter of Joseph FANIN & Agnes Ann HAMILTON. On the 1880 census for Perry co, Sarah OSBORN age 23 and daughters, Mary Etta age 3 & Ida OSBORN age 4 months, resided with Sarah's mother Agnes and Sarah's step-father George AYRES. Sarah was also the mother of Arthur Garfield OSBORN born 1883 IL, probably Perry co. Family story has it that Sarah's OSBORN husband worked for the Railroad and was gone much of the time. He left home and never came back.
Sarah married Mathew Robert SMITH in Montague co. TX in 1886.
Who did Sarah go to Texas with?
What ever happened to Allen M. OSBORN ?
Is he the same as Miles Allen OSBORN who lived in Jefferson co. IL ( b. 1857 d. 1935) ?
