"I am a descendant of Margaret "Peggy" Orr who m Hiram Shelley b 1801-1810. They married in Caldwell Co, KY 1818 and later lived in Trigg Co, KY. Hiram disappears after 1850 and I find Margaret living in Johnson Co, IL in 1860 next to an apparent relative, Martha, who has 3 children: Nancy, Thomas and Elizabeth, ranging in age from 7 to 14.
What became of Margaret after 1860 and who are her parents?"
