I am looking for any information on Henry and Lavina J. (Tucker) Hill...

They married on 11 Jul 1860 in Greene County, Illinois where Lovina was born. Henry was born in Illinois but not sure where. He is living with a Strait family in 1850 census in Greene County.

In 1870 and 1880 they are living in Greene County. Starting with the 1900 census, they are living in Macon County, mainly around Decatur.

Their known children (from the censuses) were Oscar, Charles, Minnie, Elmer, Belle, Richard, and Ward.

Henry died 15 Feb 1902 (Cert #3) in Decatur. Lovina died 31 Oct 1925 in Chiago, Cook County at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Belle Greene. According to a news snippet in a Greene County newspaper, she was buried in Decatur.

Oscar married Ella M. Rucker and he died in 1932 in Sangamon County. Ella died in 1944/45 in Oakley Twp.

No info on Charles and Minnie.

I found a marriage for Elmer in Macon County to Tillie A. May. I can not find him in any censuses... well I can't confirm him in any census.

Belle married a gentleman by the name of Greene. I can not find a marriage for her and haven't trace her in censuses yet.

Richard married Amanda ?? (no date).

Ward married Ethel Z Agate on 27 May 1897 in Macon. He died 9 Apr 1899.

According to the 1900 censes Lovina gave birth to 7 children with 6 living. Ward being the one that has died.

According to the 1910 census, Lovina has 5 children living. Not sure who died in the 10 years between the censuses.

I looked with the cemetery index and I can not find one of these Hills in any of the cemeteries. If anyone can give me any clues, help, suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

Juls
