His stateside residence was Mt. Pulaski [Logan County] Illinois. He was described as W M born April 1875 Illinois; father b. IL; mother b. OH This matches up with his parents, Samuel White, a brick mason born in December 1840, and Mary E., born in October 1847, living in Mount Pulaski in 1900. Mary had 9 children born, 8 living, with 4 still at home. World War I Draft Registration Card Name: Nathaniel Benjamin White City: 2000 N Maple Ave., Decatur County: Macon State: Illinois Birth Date: April 11, 1875 Race: White Age: 43 Occupation: Laborer, Perry & McGowan Mt Auburn, Christian Co., Ill Nearest Relative: Grace Marion White 2000 N Maple Ave., Decatur, Macon Co., Ill. Height/Build: Medium/Medium Color of Eyes/Hair: Brown/ Signature: Nothaniel [sic] Benjamin White Sept. 7, 1918, Decatur, Ills. Nathaniel B.
