Roger....This 1870 census record APPEARS to be the Richards family on the 1880 Illinois census. This record is from HeritageQuest Online.

1870 Decatur Post Office, Long Creek, Macon County, Illinois Census - Page 489 - Enumerated 26 July:

James Richards, 40, laborer, value of personal estate/200, b. Ohio, cannot read or write

Isabell Richards, 22, b. Illinois
William Richards, 11, b. Illinois
Charles Richards, 9, b. Illinois
Elle Richards, 6, b. Illinois
George Richards, 3, b. Illinois
Jesse Richards, 2/12, b. Illinois in May of 1870
----------------------------
Good luck with your research....Pauline
