Mrs. Sarah Pigg, 94
Passes Away Sunday;
Was Resident 6 Years

Mrs. Sarah Margaret Pigg, 94 of 2400 Ohio avenue, died at 12:11 pm at her home of illness due to general infirmities.
Mrs. Pigg, who lived in Grantie City for the past six years is survived by 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, in addition to three sons and two daughters. She was born in Ohio.
Her sons are John W Keller and Elxie Pigg of St. Louis and Charles Pigg of Owensville, MO; and two daughters are Mrs. Minnie Gibson of St. Louis and Mrs. Mary Tondre of Granite City.
Announcement of funeral services will be found in the obituary column. (pg.4)

OBITUARY Column - pg. 14
Pigg, Mrs. Sarah Margaret, 2400 Ohio avenue, Granite City. Entered into rest at 12:11pm Sunday, April 8, 1951 at home. Dear mother of John W Keller, Elxie Pigg, Mrs. Minnie Gibson, Mrs. Mary Tondre and Charles Pigg; dear grandmother and great-grandmother.
Her remains will lie in state at Pieper Funeral Home, 1929 Cleveland boluevard. Services from Pieper at 7:30am Wednesday to St. Joseph's Chruch. Interment, Adkins Cemetery, Rural Route One, Drake, Ill.
