Hi and God Bless you....I am searching for obituaries for Robert Dobbins and his sister Loretta Dobbins Scannell. She died in October 1968 in Granite City and Robert died in September 1952. Their father Robert Dobbins Sr. (1865-1916) and their brother Harry Dobbins (1896-1922) lived and died in Mitchell. Harry was the postmaster. They are buried in St. Elizabeths Cem. I imagine Loretta and Robert are also buried there. The others that I seek information on is another sister May Verna Dobbins, born April 1894, she married Fred Hawk and their daughter Shirley Mae Hawk born 1927 in Alton. Shirley Mae is the only known descendant of this branch of my family. Have you ever been to Mitchell? Is it close to St. Elizabeth's? I would very much appreciate any help you could give me in finding any of the Dobbins,Hawks, or Scannells. Thank you very much!!
