I am looking for information about the Sherman family who lived in Sandoval, Marion Co, at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. They all migrated to the area from WV after the civil war.
The father was Henry Sherman (1788 Mass-Aft 1860 ?)
[I am not sure he made it to IL.]
Mother: Phoebe (DeWitt) Sherman (1811 VA -1896 IL)
children:
Hector R (1830-Aft 1900)
Herod D (1831-Aft 1870)
Isaac B (1834-Aft 1900)
Henry F (1838-Aft 1900)
William C (1844-Aft 1900)
John A (1844-Aft 1920)
George Nathan (1850-Aft 1910)
H. Monroe (1854-Aft 1920)
Any help of this family would be appreciated very much.
