John, Thank you for the information. I am happy that you have returned to the board. I have discovered that the bride's surname is spelled "Barrow", not "Banow" as it appears in the court house records. John O'Brien's 1905 obiturary notes that his first marriage was to Mary Barrow in 1860. This is supported by anecdotal information of a John Barrow, age 14, enumerated in the home of John O'Brien during the 1860 census. Do you have access to other Marshall County marriages? Can you check to see if there are marriages of men with the surname Cooney or Conney? I have found marriages records for Bridget and Margaret Cooney and their older sister Mary Conney (should be Cooney). Thank you so much for checking. Notify Administrator about this message?
