HOPEWELL
A sad history comes under our pen this week. Louis Persoll a young married man who was born and raised in Hopewell, and whose prospects for the future a few days ago were as bright as any man's in the world, suddenly commenced showing signs of insanity, which increased upon him with great rapidity, so that it was but a few days until he had to be tied hand and foot as he was considered very dangerous. Mr. Persoll was a young man of good education, well informed, and a man given to no evil habits; was steady, honest and industrious, and his relatives and many friends are much grieved over the horrible condition of the unfortunate man who has met one of the most deplorable fates of the cruel world.
I'm not related, just had this copy.
