Looking for a connection to a Simmons in Marshall Co. ILL

I'm looking for a Simmons family memeber who in 1850 wrote a letter (no names were mentioned)requesting info on a John Simmons's b. 12-1-1752 Revolutionary War Pension and if they were in line to receive any of it. I believe that the person writing the letter would have to be either a Richard, Thomas, or Henry Simmons, Daniel Chambers, Josiah Gaylon or Galyon, or Levi Saterfield or Satterfield. The letter was sent from Marshall Co. ILL by a Lawyer. Does anyone have any info on any of these persons. Someone said there was a Rebecca Simmons listed in the 1850 census. If anyone could check the census for other Simmons, Chambers, Gaylon or Satterfield would be appreciated.
The above Thomas Simmons married a Rebecca Wilson and had a daughter Rebecca (about the age of the person who was suppose to be in 1850 census) who married a Brown Rookard.
Thanks in advance, if you can help in any way.
