A friend in Sweden has asked me for help in finding descendants of a relative. His message was the following:

"Carl Oscar Johannesson was born 1874-01-20 in Blekinge, Augerum parish,Sweden. He died 1952-03-27 in Sparland, Illinois, USA. He married Margareth Gunther born 1869-11-14, place unknown. Looking for descendants of them."

There may be a mix up on the last name. It is possible that it could have been "Svensson"instead.

What newspaper would I find the obituary for the Sparland area? I might be able to get it on inter-library loan.
