As far as I know, it is Unionville. After phone calls to the library and to people in the area, all I could find out was that they thought this Blankenship Cemetery was in the middle of somebody's field. There was a question about the farmers in the area wanting to get rid of the cemetery. I wrote to the Genealogical Society and never heard anything from them. The Blankenships I was looking for was the family of Rev. William Henry Blankenship, from Hardin County, Tennessee. His first wife, Martha/Mattie Gruern and at least one child, John Cunningham Blankenship (1879-1881) are buried there. There were four other children that could be buried there: Nora Matilda, born 1872, Surrenia, 1875-1876, Robert, 1866, and Martha Elizabeth, 1867-1868. William and Martha/Mattie had at least 10 children. After her death William came back to Hardin County, Tn and married twice more. Hope this is your family.
