I'm searching for information about John Inman's children from his first marriage. These children are listed with
John and his second wife Lydia in the 1870 census of Tennessee Township, McDonough County, Illinois.
I'm assuming that his first wife is deceased at the time John married Lydia Pugh in 1866 in Hancock County,Illinois. John was born in 1823 and Lydia was born 1843.
The names of the children from his first marriage are:
1. John born 1862
2. Lenora born 1863
3. James E. born 1864
These years could be off a year, because I'm going by
the age they were in th 1870 census.
John's two sons are not listed in his obituary; but his
daughter was living in Elvaston, Illinois in 1900. It
didn't mention whether she was married or not. I assume
that the boys were deceased.
