Randolph Willey, 45, Macomb, Dies...Randolph Willey, 45, of 433 N. Prairie St., Macomb, was dead on arrival at McDonough Distric Hospital at 5:45 p.m. Saturday. He had been in poor health for the past five years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Clugston Chapel. The Rev. Cecil Swindle will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 23, 1926, in Bethel Township, the son of Ira B. and Alta Shannon Willey. He moved to Macomb about 1933 and was a cement finisher and plasterer by trade. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the Navy in the Pacific Theatre from 1944 to 1946. On Oct. 5, 1946, he was married to Mary Noel.
Surviving are the widow and mother, both of Macomb; four children, Sam Willey, Steve Willey and Karen Willey, all of Macomb,; and Randall Willey of New Philadelphia; three brothers, Russell, Richard and Eddie, all of Macomb.
