Hi Jean; A woman who does look-up's in Mercer Co for cemeteries answered me back and said that she had found Abraham DeWitt, 35, farmer, born Ohio, Rebecca DeWitt, 30, born Ohio, Emma B. age 8, born Il, Benjamin, age 7, born Il in the 1870 census in Rivoli Township in Mercer Co. We keep making a little more head way in tracking them each day. So now we know they were in Il. by 1870. And my "cousin" just ran across a researcher who is a grandson of Abram (Abraham) and Rebecca, and he's sending us about 100 pages of hand written notes with info on both the DeWitt and Coleman line. So between his and what you've helped with, it should just about complete his line. Again thanks very much for your help.
