Thank you for posting the 1860 census, I hadn't found that one yet. As for Mary having 6 children and 2 living in 1900, that is an error. If she had two children by her first marriage and 6 by her second, she had 8 children. I have no proof of what happened to the first two and of the 6 by Boomer, there were at least 4 living in 1900. I seems there are so many inconsistencies with her that it is hard to follow. So far she is the only one I have had that problem with and hope it is the only one. I did make contact with the ggrandson of her sister and he says the maiden name she gave on her marriage was not the same and that he has at least 8 different variations for her. He has searched for many years and never found anything more on her. Wish me luck!
