You are right, that information would be helpful, sorry about that. I'll repeat last entry and add info.

I am looking for information on Sullivan's in Illinois that originated from Maryland. Specifically a Clement Sullivan (22Oct1826-27Sep1908) who married America McNew Hite (28Feb1831-28May1890). Information about his parents is what I most need as it seems his father (also a Clement (18Aug1809-6Aug1876 Caroline County, Maryland)) and his ancestors have no records. I have a birth and death with the place of his father and his mother Rebecca Bowen (b, abt 1801 Maryland), I cannot find anything back any farther.
