goes to show you, never trust your first inquiry! had called to check on some other names and added melvin and martha, guess that name slipped by!
did you every get the plot card from Forest Home? sometimes that shows more information.
also, i find a Fred Decker in the Chicago Tribune, died 9/10/1913 in Cook County, "DECKER - Fred A. Decker, Sept 10, 1913, beloved husband of Martha A. Decker and father of Mrs. C.L. Hubbell and Irene F. Decker. Funeral Saturday from his late resident, 2715 Lexington St. at 2 p.m. Burial at Forest Home by automobile. Deceased was a member of Congress council, National Union, Progressive Council Royal Arcanum".
There is also a death certificate on the Illinois State archives (jesse white).
