Martin Arfmann, or John Martin Arfmann came over to Beecher, Illinois from Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany in about 1880. He was a brick mason, by trade, and lived in
the Beecher area through about 1908. He married Minnie
Lutterman. Any suggestions about the community of Beecher,
or Martin's time there, would be much appreciated.
