I looked at the 1880 census again and look who's living next door to Isabella.

(living next door)
S S Hanna w m 32 farmer IL TN AL
Angeline Hanna w f 22 wife MO IN GER
Tony Hanna w m 1 son MO IL MO
L Bradford w f 17 sister widowed IL TN AL

Is that Sampson Hannah from the 1860 Massac Co, IL census? Note that the birthplace of his parents matches that of Isabella. Although I think it's backwards from what it should be from the information I found in 1860.
