Thanks, Constance, for taking the time to respond. I did not have the info on George Darcy's death. It is odd that he died in the same year as his brother John and less that a hundred miles away in California. I know that George served in WWI and that he married a woman named Audie and appparently had two sons, Marshall and Jack. Daughters were Ordell and Aleen/Aileen. Audie moved to Alaska after divorce from George. I don't know if she took any of the children with her. Eldest of the Darcy siblings was Elizabeth. She was three years older than John, so must have been born about 1882. Their mother, Jane L Keester, was 54 in the 1910 census, and so must have been about 26 when Elizabeth was born, pretty old for having a first child in those days, and so there may well have been other siblings of Elizabeth, John, and George. At age 54 Jane must have been born about 1856, evidently in Illinois. So, the siblings' father was probably born between 1846 and 1856. Jeremiah is the right age to be their father, or possibly their father's brother. I can't connect him to them, yet, however.
