If Rachel Cape was a daughter and 25 in 1870, how could that be when in the earlier census 1860 she is 4 and shown born in Illinois but in 1870 it shows TN as place of birth?

Where did the year 1893 come from for death year of Jack/John Cape?

Also, from what Irvin family would Lucinda have come from?

Are there any land records available for ownership for Hiram in Monroe county? I know he had land in Hamilton county.

Anna May(Mae) my grandmother was married to Joseph Holroyd. Joseph was the bachelor brother of the man and his wife who took my grandmother as an orphan. That was James and Sarah Holroyd.

I have never been able to trace Richard Cape and since there is no 1890 census, it does not show Richard, Prudence and Anna Mae who all came to Kansas.

Their older brother Hiram Cape I have traced and followed and he died in California in 1938. There was another brother Thomas that shows in the 1880 census for the Cape and Capes family in Gallatin county. One will note that one census shows a child Sarah and she was the oldest of the four placed out in 1893, from where I do not know, but the Illinois Childrens Home and Aid Society were in charge. I have records from that place in Chicago.

QUESTION? Are there records available for the Poor Farm for Gallatin county?
QUESTION? Is there 1/2 census, such as 1895 census for the state of Illinois?
