Need help identifying parents of Edward Barringer, age 26, b. NC and John L. Barringer, age 14, b. IL listed in 1860 Census of Montgomery Co. IL. Living together with no one else in the household in dwelling #2091, Irving, IL. Living nearby were several Lyerly families also originally from NC.
Edward may be the same person as Edward L. Barringer who enlisted in the Union Army from Montgomery Co. and served in Co. B, 117th IL Regt. He died in TN on 22 Dec 1864.
Any help will be appreciated.
