Looking for information on the subject and his family. I believe the Severns Family and McReynold family moved to the area around 1855; perhaps after Jonathan Severns died. Harriet (McReynolds) Severn is in the 1860 census with her children (listed as Severman) in Litchfield and Johnathan McReynold supposedly died in Hillsboro. His wife was Mary Francis Severns (later supposedly married Wm Joseph Cunningham.)
