The census shows a Samuel Alden in Maryland, Ogle, Illinois
on the 1880 census, age 42, born in Ohio of parents born in
MA and NY.
The 1900 census of Leaf River shows Samuel E. Alden, age 69, single, born Ohio to Mass and NY parents.
The 1920 census of Leaf River, Ogle, Ill still has a
Samuel Alden age 74, single of US birth and parents.
Is this Samuel buried in Ogle County, Illinois?
Does anyone know the name of this Samuel's parents?
My Samuel was in the civil war with this brothers and brother -in-law. But could not get his pension papers. His parents
lived in Ohio for several years, then moved to MN.
