The Perry County, Il, Historical Society has published several soft-back volumes of cemetery records. The address is:

Perry County Historical Society, 108 W Jackson St, Pinckneyville, IL 62274

I have checked my copy of records for the Bethel Cemetery near Swanwick, Perry, Co, Il, but found no entry for DeW(h)it(t).

You might also try the Illinois Region Archive Depositories (IRAD) to determine if they have any record of her death. You should be able to find their addresses on-line. Try this site:

Good Luck!
