I'm trying to locate some info on John Henry who lived in Atwood.
An article in the Decatur paper dated Nov 9, 1900 listed Six Old Democrats. Of them it listed
Charley Masterson age 92
Samuel Hrashbarger, age 90 (spelled incorrectly)
Daniel Harshbarger, age 86
Christopher Harshbarger, age 83
John Henry, age 83
George Nolind, age 82
It states the first two men voted for Andrew Jackson, the three Harshbargers are brothers and also brothers-in-law to John Henry.
Who are the women in the family who are sisters to John? I've been trying in vain to locate John Henry and where he is buried. His daughter and son-in-law and granddaughter are in Lake Fork and some of his other children are in Mackville. His wife however is in Newton, Jasper County with his name on her stone, but no death date for him.
Does anyone recognize this family?
