Still looking for information on the family of a William Hudson, b. ca. 1827, wife Emily or Emma, children Louis or Lewis, Millie, stepson Benjamin Kane.
They appear on the 1880 Pulaski Census for Mound City.
Louis married a Victoria Watters 1889 in Pulaski, Their son Jesse born in Villa Ridge in 1890/91, son Louis Eugene born in Cairo in 1896, and daughter Elizabeth b. ?
Louis was born in Vanderburgh Co., ca. 1869-1872 (census dates differ).
Louis latter divorced Victoria, remarried and is on the 1920 census for E. St. Louis, IL. He died there in 1929.
Millie married an Edward C. James and lived from 1914 to 1940 at 1111 Washington Ave., Cairo, IL.
