Hi,
While doing a little Civil War research, I ran across the name of a town in Pulaski County, Illinois that I have never heard of. The name of the town is Marseilles, Illinois. There was a civil war camp located there, 2 miles above Villa Ridge on the Illinois Central Railroad, at old site of old town of Marseilles (close to the present town of Pulaski). If anyone has ever heard of this town, or has any information on this town, please let me know. Your help is appreciated.
