I have an A.J. Trexler in my file. He was born abt. 1849. I found him on the 1880 census of Wetaug, IL Pulaski County. He was listed with three daughters:
Mary E b. abt 1870; Nellie b. abt 1875; Leamma b. abt 1878; Mary J. Abbott and Martha Abbott. I believe the missing wife and mother of the children to be Mary Angeline Stephens, daughter of Mary J. Abbott and half sister of Martha Abbott.
Martha Abbott is my great-grandmother and Mary Jane was her mother.
If this is the same A.J. Trexler, I would like to know more about his daughters and their families.
