I am looking for information on the burial, probably at Grand Chain, of Mary Jane Gray nee Elder, formerly Mary Jane Childers and her second husband Dewitt A. Gray. Dewitt Gray died at Pulaski Co. bef 1900. His widow, Mary Jane Elder, was formerly married to Civil War Vet John A. Childers and the mother of George W. Childers and Joel A. Childers all of Pulaski Co., Illinois. She remarried to Dewitt A. Gray who, himself, was formerly married into the Childers family to the former Malinda Childers and had several children by her. Dewitt and Mary Jane had several children of their own, most of whom migrated from Illinois to California and Washington State. Mary Jane joined her children in Washington and died there at Seattle, King, Washington on 12 Sep 1922. However, her obit says she was to be interred at Grand Chain, Illinois probably near one or both of her former husbands, John Childers and Dewitt Gray. Her son, Herbert Milton Gray, married Doris Olive Lentz of Ullin, dau of Andrew Lentz and Mary Sophia Bundschuh - all buried at Santa Ana Cemetery adjacent to Fairhaven in Orange Co., California. Any comments would be appreciated.
