Lucy Bell b.1850 in Tenn.with her parents and she married
Henry Davis of Ky. b.1836 in Pulaski Co.ILL. in 1870 as shown in the ILL. State Marriage Records. They both died in 1914 in Pulaski Co. They are both listed in the US.1880 & 1910 Census as being mulatto. Lucy was married using Lucy Bell but in the 1861-1901 Marriage Records by Darrel Dexter she is listed as Lucy Bell(Coy)Davis. I would like to find out why she used "Coy" sometimes in her name & I would appreciate help on this.
