Hi Linda, your email did reach me but still having trouble sending. I am interested in what info you have on Jacobo Noise. From my research I suspect that Jacobo, Jacques, Peter,Pierre-last name of Noise, Noize, Noiset dit Labbe, and Labbe are all one and the same. His name and spelling depended on who took the record-the Spanish, The French, The English or American.
Jacque is believed (Louis Houck "History of Missouri" footnote 26 pg 58) to be the son of Nicolas Nosiet (dit Labbe).
Israel Christy/Christie was listed as the father of Rodde (Rhoda) Christy on the marriage certificate of her and her first husband Pierre Viriat(I have a copy of this). It also stated in the book "History of Missouri" by Louis Houck that her maiden name was Christy and she was from Virginia (pg 376 footnote 72). I have little information on the Christy/Christie line but have been researching them. So far it appears that they came from VA to KY to MO. But have not found Israel Christy. Rodde's second husband was Joseph Labbe. It is Joseph that I am trying to connect to the Noiset dit Labbe' family. If interested I can supply what info I have in email (if it ever comes back up).
I do have more information on the Noiset dit Labbe (or Noise) family and on the Labbe family itself of which I desend from. Most my research on the Noiset family is prior to 1846. I will go through it and see if I can match up a Marie J. or a Marie Chirstine. I also have recieved several papers from a researcher in Randolph CO Ill. (Which was part of the Missouri Terr) and have yet to translate them. These are from the French Records and containe estate papers of Francois Nicolas Noise(Noiset dit Labbe also just Labbe)and the marriage record of Nicolas Noise and his wife Marie Ste Yves. There are many other papers too but as I said I need to translate them.
I have not seen the last names of Bernier but then I was not looking for that name ---so will go through my records and see if it turns up.
Hope to hear back from you.
Frances
