I'm looking for information on the George Washington Harrison family. George, wife Elizabeth, daughter Eliza P and son William H. came from Tennessee around 1855. In the 1860 census George was married to Mary and had 3 additional children, Melvin, Margaret, age 3, and George W. Jr., 1 year of age. Something happened to the family between 1860 and 1870 because in 1870 the only ones I can find are Margaret, age 13 and George W. age 11. They were living with Lenard Russell, his wife, Maria J. and their 2 children in Randolph County, Illinois.
If anyone has any information on the Harrison please let me know.
