Hi Roberta,
I really don't know anything about John W. Imes except that he was supposedly from Pennsylvania, he was born in 1852 and died in 1926. My information says he was orphaned at the age of five. He was married to to Verena (aka. Veronica,Frania)Mark (Marks) born 1865 and died 1948. They are both buried in Union Cemetary in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

I have information on each of their descendents if you would like it. There were nine: Joseph, John, Catherine, Alfred, Mary, Michael, Ruth and Esther (twins) and Anna.

As I said I have some infromation on each of the nine that I could fax to you if you need it.

Just from reading through the other Imes-Marks postings, I figured this was the same man that had the brother Esau.
