Does your Miranda have sisters named Maria and Minerva?
Maria b. 12-17-1829 in Ohio
m. 12-14-1848 in Ohio to Lyman Watson Bailey
d. 3-11-1903 in Neligh, NE
Minerva b. 1-15-1834 in Ohio
m. 5-27-1852 in CedarCo.,IA to William Soesbe
d. 11-29-1927 Buried in Ewing, NE
In the 1880 census Minerva was apparently a widow.Said her father was born in VT and her mother in VA.
Maria was my husband's great-great-grandmother and I've been trying to find info about the family. Have been told their parents were William Impson & Melinda Miranda Fortner but have found conflicting information on William and Melinda. Hoping to find somebody to clear up my confusion. Thanks for any help. Linda
