Hi Jonathan...we finally found Samuels death date and place of death. He died Oct. 5, 1912 in Chase, Lake County, Michigan. He is buried in Chase Twp. cemetary, Michigan. He had a second wife...Anna Schroeder who he married Sept. 16, 1895 , Stronach Twp. Manistee Co. Michigan..He had five more children...Myrtle..1896, hobart...June 3, 1898...Oscar Jan. 22, 1900, roy 1906 and zella or bella born 1908 ....all born in Michigan. Samuels parents were Anthony wertz and Anna E. weaver...both born Germany. Anthony died in Mercer County, Ohio...Black creek twp. May 15, 1871...Anthony and Anna are buried in Duck creek cemetery, mercer county ohio.
