I have been searching for my husband's grandparents, George Van Horn and Margaret Parker. I believe they were residents of Allen County. I am guessing that they were born around the mid 1850's and possibly arrived in Allen County sometime after that. I think they had 8 children. George may have lived in Monroeville, In. for a time, but not certain. I have been told they are buried in the Parker Cemetery on St. Joe Road. It was told to my husband that Margaret Parker's father may have been in a significant political position in early Allen County History. The name Parker appears on the facade of the Allen County Court House in Fort Wayne, Ind. George may also have worked on the railroad in Fort Wayne, In. It is a shame to hit a brick wall so close to one's father, but so little is known about them. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated! "Time is really of the essence" as I am quite ill. Thank you for your valuable time in looking into this for me. Susan
