Curtis, 92, 1842 Weisser Park Ave., who died at 5:55 a.m. yesterday in St. Joseph Hospital where she had been a patient one day. Rev. Phillip W. Lewis will officiate at the D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hoagland Cemetery. A native of Waterloo, Mrs. Curtis lived in Fort Wayne since 1924. Her husband, Nelson, died in 1941. Surviving are three sons, Darwin, Bryan, Ohio, Joseph, Detroit, and Bruce, Fort Wayne; two daughters, Miss Helen and Miss Geneva, both of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Roche, 72, 2141 Miner St., wo died at 5:30 a.m. yesterday in the Lutheran Hospital, following an illness of 10 days. Rev. Thomas O'Connor will officiate at 8:30 a.m. in Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, and at 9 a.m. in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Roche lived in Fort Wayne for the past five years and was a member of St. Patrick's Church and its Rosary Society. Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Robert DeVinney, Fort Wayne; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home were friends may call after 2 p.m. today. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio. A native of Scioto County, Ohio, Mrs. Powers lived in Fort Wayne for 41 years. She was a member of the Calvary Temple. Survivors include a son, Russell Wooderson, Fort Wayne, and several cousins.
