Transcribed from SAMPUBCO photocopy by Ken Cool <kencool@sbcglobal.net> Allen Co., IN - Will Book Vol. 1, page 184 Surnames: Snyder, Miller, Shoaff, Kinsey Last Will and Testament of John Snyder, dec’d. I John Snyder of the County of Allen in the State of Indiana do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form the following, that is to say: First, it is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts by fully paid. Second, I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Snyder the plantation on which we now reside, situate in Allen County State of Indiana, containing Eighty acres [80] the east half of the southwest quarter of section one [1] in township thirty two [32] North of Range Eleven [11] East, with full power and authority to sell said real estate whilst she remains my widow, but if said widow married then the power given to said widow in this will cease except her dower as the law directs if said widow should elect and sell said real estate the money of said sale must be paid to my executor and he the said executor must invest said money in land for my heirs to be divided equally to said heirs and at the death of my said wife all the property hereby divided or bequeathed to her as aforesaid or so much thereof as may there remain unexpended to be divided equal to said heirs. And lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint Christian Kincy to be my executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 26th day of April 1852.
