Hope Area Families (Mildred Dixon Harrod, 1985) has this on p. 235:
"Louisa Douglass was born in Shelby county 20 June 1858 and died there 14 February 1937. Funeral at Hawcreek Baptist church with burial in the church cemetery. She was the daughter of John L. Schiedler & Sarah Vail, both born in Ohio. She had children living in Shelby county."
Hawcreek Baptist Cemetery is north of Hope, near the Shelby Co. line;
