I would like to share information with anyone researching this Jacob Volz who was born in Germany abt 1813 and came to Allen Co. Indiana before 185o. He is married to Elizabeth b. Ohio. By 1860 he has moved to Warren Co. IN., Pine Twp. and lives in the town of Rainsville. He is a boot and shoemaker. In 1870 Elizabeth dies and in Dec. of tht year he married a Martha Gage. In 1870 Martha dies and sometime before the 1880 census he has married a Nancy Unknown. In the 1900 census he has died and Nancy isa widow living alone. She is now age 60. Jacob had many children by Elizabeth and Martha. I'm not sure about Nancy.
The Children's names are:
Lucinda,Jacob, Pauline, Andrew, Mary, Sarah, John Charles, Frederick, Whose mother was Elizabeth. Then there is Carie, Scoot, Persinea and Nora(h).
Can anyone help with the children? I have some of the spouses that I found in Warren and Benton Counties.
