Hi Linda Well this is pritty amazing. Victoria Latham Mincer is my great aunt and I grew up very close to her, because she is my dear beloved grandmothers sister, Bertha Laura Latham Prentice ( my grandmother ) My mother is Billee Prentice Lynch. She and my father Robert Paul Lynch had 5 children and we lived in Southern Calif.I will tell you much more. I have been looking for years to find my mothers family. Today is the anniversary of my grandfathers death. Edwin A Prentice died of a gunshot wound to the head on June 16 1930. This has always been a mystery in our family, and of course it broke my mothers heart. She adored her father. My grandmother and mother came to Calif. the next year,and opened up a Tea House in Griffith Park in LA. This is where my father and mother fell in love in 1931. I'll tell you more of the stories in more letters. I am so pleased to meet you. I know many stories of your grandfather, Edgar Latham and his Sisters, Bertha ( my grandmother) and my Aunt Tory as we called her(Victoria). I have many pictures I will share with you. ~ Mary Reed
